Help for MMPM/2 CONFIG.SYS Error ═══ An error occurred while attempting to modify the CONFIG.SYS file. DO NOT restart your system until the latest unmodified CONFIG.SYS file version is restored. As an aide in determining what the problem is, you might save the CONFIG.SYS as a renamed file and examine its contents for possible errors later. If you cannot determine the cause of the problem, get help from someone knowledgeable about CONFIG.SYS files. To restore the latest unmodified file, rename it CONFIG.SYS. The latest file version can be identified by its name extension which is a three digit number. The file having the highest extension number is the latest version. For example, if your system contains files CONFIG.001, CONFIG.002, and CONFIG.003, the file with extension 003 is the latest version. ═══ 13.
